We are currently accepting resumes for seasonal and part time Guide's and Cook's to join our team. We specialize in archery elk and turkey hunting. We hunt other game in NM, TX, MO, IL. If you are highly motivated, honest, a reliable individual with excellent people skills, then you may be qualified to join our team.

Cook's - We prefer you to have experience as a cook/chef. You must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and able to work well with people. This job is like having a big family. Meals range from sack lunches to sit down buffet style. Being able to cook or bake homemade or from scratch is a definite plus!! Everyone loves it even more if it's "The way grandma use to make it!" You must be able to prepare 3 meals a day for up to 20 people and able to do clean up after. If you have a favorite spoon or skillet, bring it!
The meal times range from breakfast 4 to 6 a.m., lunch served from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m., and dinner 6 to 8 p.m. These times may vary. Just a few of the cook's responsibilities are planning menus, making up grocery lists and doing the shopping. Good cleaning habits are also a must. Living quarters, kitchen and bathrooms need to be cleaned daily. Some travel is required and you must be able to live on site. This can be flexible if you are local
Guides - Our Guides must be an accomplished archery hunter. It doesn't matter if its bugling elk, gobbling turkey or trophy deer, a guide must have thorough knowledge of the animal he seeks. You must be able to field judge Bull Elk and Trophy Bucks for Pope and Young or Boone and Crocket for gross scoring. You will need to field dress, skin, full cape, head and shoulder cape, and quarter. We expect excellent gun safety skills and American Red Cross first aid. A guide must be able to work in a team oriented environment, and have an enthusiastic attitude. Without the right attitude you will not make it no matter how good your skills are. You must be good natured, responsible, and able to get your hunter close, for a good shot.
A guide may have to walk many miles in rough terrain and possibly under unfavorable weather conditions so top physical condition is a must. As a guide you will need to bring your own equipment. Just a few of these items would be : a pair of 10 x 42 binoculars, range finder, a day pack or fanny pack, pack frame, game bags, knives and sharpener. Game calls, cow calls, bugle tube, hyper hot calls, wind checkers. You must have suitable clothing for both hot and cold weather and your boots need to be waterproof. A reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle with suitable tires for the terrain that you can load and unload game in. You must be willing to work hard to make sure your clients are treated right and have a successful trip.
